75 दिनों तक चलने वाले ऐतिहासिक और विश्वप्रसिद्ध बस्तर दशहरा की तैयारी के लिए बस्तर दशहरा समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में बस्तर सांसद एवं बस्तर दशहरा समिति के अध्यक्ष दिनेश कश्यप, जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष जबिता मंडावी, पूर्व विधायक लच्छुराम कश्यप, डाॅ. सुभाऊ कश्यप कलेक्टर धनंजय देवांगन, सहायक कलेक्टर राहुल देव सहित मांझी, चालकी, नाईक, पाईक, मेम्बर, मेम्बरिन एवं विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधिगण उपस्थित थे।

शारदा महिला मंडल ने मनाया सावन उत्सव Next

उदयपुर अंतर्गत स्थित रामगढ़ की पावन धरा में शारदा महिला मंडल के सदस्यों ने रविवार को सावन उत्सव मनाया। महिला मंडल की सदस्यों ने अंताक्षरी, नृत्य और खेलकुद का आयोजन किया। सभी महिलाओं ने अपने-अपने सावन सखियों का मिष्ठान खिलाकर स्वागत किया। सविता गुप्ता ने मार्मिक गीत प्रस्तुत किया।

खेती करने सरकारी जमीन में कराई जाएंगी फेंसिंग, दी जाएगी पानी की सुविधा : कलेटर


जिले में बेहतर कार्य कर रहे स्वसहायता समूहों को सब्जी की खेती करने सरकारी जमीन उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी, यहां फेंसिंग कार्य भी किया जाएगा तथा पानी की व्यवस्था भी कराई जाएगी। यह जानकारी कलेक्टर सौरभ कुमार ने राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन की बैठक में दी।

Public Works Department Minister Rajesh Munat inaugurated the district level science exhibition in Bastar. The exhibition is being held in government higher secondary school of Pandripani.
Minister Munat praised the innovation on display in science exhibition and remarked that there is no dearth of talent in Bastar. He specially praised the scientific items based on 'Kabad Se Jugad' Best out of Waste) theme.

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today chaired cabinet meeting at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan), wherein the cabinet decided to fill vacancies in high schools, higher secondary schools and government hospitals through outsourcing. It was informed in the meeting that the posts of lecturers for subjects such as science, English and commerce in high schools and higher secondary schools of both these revenue divisions are vacant. Likewise, for health services also, there is shortage of staff nurses and lab technicians in hospitals.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today said that the State Government will provide quality education to the school children of Bastar and Sarguja by recruiting Maths, Science and English teachers from Chhattisgarh and outside state also. The teachers will be recruited for one year on a fixed honorarium. He was speaking at the Police Line Helipad here after his return from the first day 'Lok Suraj' campaign at the Naxalites'-dominated Narayanpur and Bijapur.

Chhattisgarh’s tableau depicting ‘Bastar Dussehra’ is ready to mesmerize chief guest US President Barack Obama at Rajpath during the Republic Day celebrations here. The tableau was today showcased to the national media by Defense Ministry during a press preview at R R Camp here. 34 tribal dancers, who will be accompanying the tableau, also performed Maria dance in front of the media.
