Intensifying their campaign for Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh's resignation over the coalgate scam, main Opposition party Congress staged 'gherao' of Kanker Collectorate and submitted memorandum demanding CBI inquiry into the allocation of coal blocks in the State. Over 5000 party workers took part in the demonstration which was spearheaded by the senior leaders. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Nand Kumar Patel said that party will continue to raise the voice against the corrupt practises of ruling BJP Government until their demands are not met.
