मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. रमन सिंह कल रात यहां इंडोर स्टेडियम में आयोजित कवि सम्मेलन में शामिल हुए। डॉ. रमन सिंह के नेतृत्व में राज्य सरकार के पांच हजार दिन पूरे होने पर इस कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर देश के प्रसिद्ध कवियों ने अपनी कविताएं प्रस्तुत की। कार्यक्रम में विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री गौरीशंकर अग्रवाल, लोक निर्माण मंत्री श्री राजेश मूणत, महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री श्रीमती रमशिला साहू, राज्यसभा सांसद श्री भूषणलाल जांगड़े, पूर्व विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री धरमलाल कौशिक, रायपुर विकास प्राधिकरण के अध्यक्ष श्री संजय श्रीवास्तव सहित अन्य गणमान्य नागरिक उपस्थित थे।

After reaping the historic majority of votes in Vidhan Sabha general elections for the third time, Dr. Raman Singh sworn-in as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh today in a magnificent event organized at Police Parade Ground, Raipur, where the huge crowd of people witnessed the moment. People joyously welcomed him at the venue, and Governor Shekhar Dutt administered the oath of office and secrecy to Chief Minister. After the historic success in the third general elections of Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha, Dr. Raman Singh is going to swear-in as Chief Minister for the third time today on December 12. This swearing-in ceremony of Chief Minister will be organized at Police Parade Ground, Raipur amid the huge crowd of people, from 11 am. All the arrangements for the event are nearing completion. Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar chaired a meeting of senior officials today to review the arrangements.

As many as 6656, final year degree and post graduate students from 38 colleges of Raipur received Tablet PC with from Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh under state government 'Yuva Suchna Kranti' scheme in a programme held at Indoor Stadium on Wednesday. With it, the state government has so far distributed Tablet PC to 30000 students and Laptops to 16000 students of the state starting from November 2012.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today at night released first journal of Central India for blinds at his official residence in Raipur. He complimented publisher and editor of the journal and their team for this noble efforts for the blinds and expressed his best wishes. The journal named 'Sparsh' to be published in Braille scripts. Elevated pin-points on thick paper enable the blind to read the text through finger- touch. The journal 'Sparsh' is project by an NGO Sparsh' of Chhattisgarh's capital city Raipur.
