Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh expressing profound grief paid humble tribute on the sudden demise of former MLA from Balod Lokendra Yadav during the condolence meeting held here at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College on Sunday. Dr. Singh said on the occasion that Yadav was a man simple behavior and clean image. He was a hard-working farmer leader who believed in selfless service, this is why even after his death he was set an example for the college with their academic work.

JMFC orders FIR against 10 in Balod eye camp tragedy case

Taking post-cognizance of the petition filed by the Food and Durg Administration Department, the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Swarnalata Toppo on Thursday directed to register FIR against 10 accused including Himachal Pradesh and Punjab-based two drug manufacturing companies and a Raipur-based firm. The case was registered under section 18(A) 1 of Durg and Cosmetics Act 1940, informed sources.
