Workshop on Research Based Pedagogical Tools (RBPTs) for Teachers of Undergraduate Science and Mathematics Courses By PRSU Raipur :-
Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, jointly with the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune and Newton Bhabha Fund, is organizing a four-day pedagogy workshop for undergraduate science teachers from 6-9 October, 2017. The workshop is jointly sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India; Newton Bhabha Fund of the British Council. This is a great opportunity for professional development for all teachers from states such as Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and also from other parts of the country. This is part of the nation-wide series of workshops on Research based Pedagogical Tools. From the tools developed during the workshop, scalable tools that could be deployed by other teachers will be identified and added to a national database.
Teachers teaching BSc/MSc courses in government or government-aided college with either a masters and 10 years of teaching experience OR a PhD with 5 years of teaching experience are eligible to apply. The college is also expected to support the participants in this activity. Highly motivated/exceptional candidates with lesser experience or from private colleges may be considered subject to selection criteria and availability of seats. Those who have attended the Workshops in Tezpur/Mohali/Pune in 2017 or Pune in 2016, need not apply.

Accommodation and TA: All participants will be provided food and accommodation at
Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University Campus during workshop. There are no registration
fees selected for this workshop. TA will be given to selected participants as per rules.
