सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए एक अच्छी खबर है. राज्य शासन द्वारा सरकारी कर्मचारियों और उनके परिवार के आश्रित सदस्यों को राज्य में और राज्य के बाहर इलाज कराने के लिए 41 अस्पतालों को आगामी एक साल के लिए मान्यता दी गई है. इनमें रायपुर, बिलासपुर, धमतरी के प्राइवेट अस्पतालों सहित नई दिल्ली स्थित अखिल भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (एम्स) भी शामिल हैं. साथ ही नागपुर, इंदौर व अन्य प्रतिष्ठित अस्पतालों को मान्यता दी गई है.

Opposition Corners Mayor Over Wastage of Funds For Improving Sanitation Of City

OPPOSITION cornered the Mayor over wastage of funds allotted for improving the sanitation arrangements of the Capital city by making purchase of unnecessary items instead of focusing special General Body Meeting (GBM) over the issue of sanitation arrangements on Thursday. Leader of Opposition Suryakant Rathore raised the issue of purchase of unnecessary machines and cars for the Zone Health Inspectors by saying that these health inspectors are already not working properly and spending so much money for the purchase of new vehicles for them would be complete wastage.

Bullet Train Not Feasible In Our Country Now : Mishra

SENIOR Trade Unionist and General Secretary of All India Railwaymen’s federation (AIRF) Shiva Gopal Mishra on Thursday said that the recommendations made by the Debroy Committee will lead to privatization of Indian Railways and all the trade unions under the banner of AIRF will continue protest against same. Mishra, in a brief media interaction on Thursday, said that privatization is not a solution to develop the Railways rather existing Infrastructures should be operated properly.

Innovation needed in health, education services: Vivek Dhand

Chief Secretary Mr. Vivek Dhand said that innovation is needed to provide better and high-quality services in the field of education and medicare. He was speaking at the regional workshop organised by the State Government's General Administration Department with the co-operation of the Central Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances Ministry. The topic of discussion was' Innovation in Public Services'. A lot of officers from 16 states and Union Territories participated in the two-day workshop.

Health check-up, vaccination for Haj pilgrims organised

A Day-long Health check-up and vaccination camp for Haj pilgrims was held at New Circuit House on Sunday under the aegis of Chhattisgarh State Haj Committee. All in all 238 Haj pilgrims were examined their health followed with administrating of vaccine. They were also given away with certificates. Dr. Salim Raj, Chairman of State Haj Committee along with Minister for Tourism and Culture Brijmohan Agrawal, Member of Parliament Mohsina Kidwai, MLA Mohammad Akbar welcomed the Haj pilgrims from different parts of the state and prayed for the better health.

Children should be made sensitive towards health since childhood: Governor

Governor Shekhar Dutt has said that every child has the right to live. The deaths of several children in the country and the State due to ordinary disease like stomach problem are extremely shameful and unfortunate incidents. Stressing on making children sensitive to health right from their childhood, the Governor expressed the view that this goal can be better achieved by making their families sensitive to health. The Governor was addressing on the launching programme of Divine Child Health Programme in Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Naya Raipur.

This is why ration cards under Chief Minister Food Security Act have been issued to the eligible beneficiaries, who will be able to avail the supply of food grains at the rate of Rs 1 and Rs 2 per kg", said Women and Child Development Minister and Minister In-charge of Lata Ussendi while addressing a district-level Shala Praveshotsav programme organized at village Korar of North Bastar (Kanker) district yesterday.

Aayush Contractual health officers' pay scale increased

State Government have taken the decision to hike the contractual salaries of Contractual Medical Officers of Aayush by 60-70 per cent. Finance Department has issued orders in the context from Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhavan), on June 25.
Orders issued by Finance Department states that the contractual salaries of contractual medical officers appointed under Ayurveda, Yoga and Natural Therapy, Unani, and Homeopathy (Aayush) departments has been hiked by Rs 12,000. Earlier, these officers were receiving Rs 18,000 as salaries which have now been increased to Rs 30,000.

Chhattisgarh has witnessed steep decline in the infant mortality rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), as a result of better implementation of Health and Family Welfare Programmes and Aanganbadi services by State Government. As per the Sample Registration System (SRS) Bulletin of year 2012 issued by Census Commissioner, Union Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh is among the top three states of the country to have recorded significant decrease in infant mortality rate (per 1000 live births).
