Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that Tennis Academy will be established in the State soon. Synthetic tennis courts are being established in all the district head-quarter towns to bring out the latent talent among the players of the State. Tennis courts had been started in most of the places also. He assured the tennis fraternity all co-operation from the authorities. He was inaugurating the Gondwana All-India Tennis Tournament at V.I.P. Club in the capital.

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today inaugurated 'oxyzone', developed in the memory of Ex-President late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, at Kamal Vihar project area by planting a sapling. This oxyzone has been developed over five acres of land in sector-3 A of Kamal Vihar, where nearly 2200 saplings of various species have been planted.
