जगदलपुर के हर घर तक पानी पहुंचाने नगरीय प्रशासन मंत्री ने दिए 103 करोड़

जगदलपुरवासियों को 130 करोड़ रुपए से अधिक के विकास कार्यों की सौगात नगरीय प्रशासन एवं विकास मंत्री ने दी। गुरुवार को बस स्टैण्ड परिसर में भूमिपूजन, लोकार्पण कार्यक्रम में नगरीय प्रशासन मंत्री ने कहा कि, राज्य शासन जगदलपुर के विकास के लिए कृत संकल्पित है। शासन की ओर से जगदलपुर के हर घर तक पानी पहुंचाने के लिए 103 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से अमृत मिशन योजना के तहत स्वीकृति प्रदान की गई है तथा इस क्षेत्र में जल प्रदाय के लिए यह इतिहास में सबसे बड़ी राशि है।

75 दिनों तक चलने वाले ऐतिहासिक और विश्वप्रसिद्ध बस्तर दशहरा की तैयारी के लिए बस्तर दशहरा समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में बस्तर सांसद एवं बस्तर दशहरा समिति के अध्यक्ष दिनेश कश्यप, जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष जबिता मंडावी, पूर्व विधायक लच्छुराम कश्यप, डाॅ. सुभाऊ कश्यप कलेक्टर धनंजय देवांगन, सहायक कलेक्टर राहुल देव सहित मांझी, चालकी, नाईक, पाईक, मेम्बर, मेम्बरिन एवं विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधिगण उपस्थित थे।

मुठभेड़ में 2 नक्सली ढ़ेर

कमा जिले किस्टाराम इलाके में रविवार सुबह हुई मुठभेड़ में दो नक्सली मारे गए हैं। बस्तर रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक विवेकानंद सिन्हा ने पत्रकारवार्ता में बताया कि, रविवार तड़के किस्टाराम में नक्सली -पुलिस मुठभेड़ में मारे गए दो नक्सलियों के कब्जे से दो हथियार बरामद हुए हैं।

Naxals open fire at DD Kendra, 3 Jawans killed

In two different daring attacks by the Leftist Insurgents, three security personnel of Chhattisgarh Armed Force were killed while one was critically injured. The leftist guerrillas first attacked a Para Military Camp in the Temalvada area under the limits of Chintagufa Police Station at Sukma district on Sunday. Following this, they pressed another attack at the Doordarshan (DD) Center of Teli Marega, situated 10 kilometers away from Bastar during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

A Central Reserve Police Force trooper, said to be under stress, fired indiscriminately at his colleagues inside a camp in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, killing four of them on the spot on Monday night after a brawl. Thirty-year-old Deep Kumar Tiwari, posted at the 111th battalion of CRPF in Aranpur village, a Naxal dominated area, flew into rage on being challenged by his camp-mates, grabbed a gun, and sprayed a head constable and three other constables with bullets. One trooper was wounded in the firing.

Naxals dig trenches in Jagdalpur

In a Fresh offensive against 'Operation Green Hunt' Naxals dug trenches through the roads across the Bastar district and fell trees to arrest the movement of vehicles across both sides of the NH 30. Several trees were either uprooted of cut through to block the 11 kilometers stretch in the Sukma district. Serveral pamphlets lashing out at the 'Operation Green Hunt' and demanding release of their jailed comrades and removing of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) from the village borders.

CM approves Rs 44 Crore for development works

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh convened a meeting of Bastar and South Region Tribal Development Authority on Wednesday in Collectorate assembly hall at divisional headquarter, Jagdalpur. Presiding the meeting, Dr. Singh gave an approval of Rs 44 crore for 800 development works. Giving his approval over proposals presented by representatives, CM Dr. Singh approved Rs 5.17 crore for energizing the unworkable pumps of 688 tribal farmers of the district.
