Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh directed Secretary, Water Resource Department to get the repairing work of irrigation water reservoir in village Kharrichhote of Sarangarh block Raigarh district done. Chief Minister gave these directions during Jandarshan programme held at his Raipur-based residence today, on request of people from Kharrichhote village. Delegation told Chief Minister that this small water reservoir in village used to provide irrigation facility to farmers of five villages.

In Jandarshan programme held today at Chief Minister's Raipur based residence, Dr Raman Singh assured unemployed Ayurveda Physicians and trained staff nurses that their grievances will be redressed at the earliest. In today's programme, a large number of women self-help groups, delegations of various organizations and common people met Chief Minister. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today met around one thousand 800 citizens at the weekly 'Jan Darshan' programme at his official residence. About 1300 individuals represented their cases and grievances to Dr. Raman Singh. He sanctioned 15 developmental works worth Rs 59 lakh on the request of people's representatives and villagers. Most of the requests are related to roads' laying projects.
Displeased to know that restoration of Parsada Canal of Tandula Irrigation Water Reservoir has not been started yet, even after two years of being approved, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh ordered MNREGA officials to begin this work as soon as possible. In response to the memorandum received from delegation of villagers led by Sarpanch of Parsada Gram Panchayat (Gunderdehi Block) Mrs. Lakshmi Sahu at the Jandarshan programme held today, Chief Minister directed Balod Collector to ensure that the restoration of Parsada minor canal and construction of gate there starts at the earliest.
Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today ordered the closure of liquor shops located at villages Temri and Banarsi on the demand of more than 60 per cent women of Mana Camp from the next fiscal 2016-17. Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh sanctioned nearly Rs 48 lakh for 14 different construction works on request of various delegations and panchayat representatives, during Jandarshan programme organized today morning at his residence. This amount will be dispatched from the funds of Scheduled Caste Development Authority, Sarguja and North area and Bastar and South Area Tribal Development Authority and Rural and Other Backward Area Development Authority. In today's Jandarshan, nearly 1250 people from various districts of state including capital city Raipur met Chief Minister.
