New Block at N H Goel World School to impart free education to local kids

N H Goel World School has set a landmark initiative by starting Ginni Devi Block in the institution premises that will provide free education to the kids of the local community. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh graced the opening ceremony as chief guest and inaugurated the new block on June 18. Chairman of the Goel Groups Suresh Goel was also present welcome the Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh by presenting memento. Addressing the inaugural programme, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh lauded the initiative by Goel Group.

Three kids nominated for State Bravery Award

Mansi Pandey Subhas Nagar, Raipur, Ishmit Kumar Sundar Nagar, Bilaspur and Shivani Soni Rajapara, Kanker are nominated for the 'State Bravery Award-2013 by the Chhattisgarh State Child Welfare Council (CSCWC) in a meeting held under the chairmanship CSCWC Chairman Brijmohan Agrawal on Friday. Each child will be awarded with cash prize of Rs 15000, medal and citation in the Republic Day Celebration scheduled to be organized at Police Ground on January 26.

CM blesses kids during 'Shala Praveshotsav'

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that the education of children is not only the responsibility of their parents or family, rather it is a joint responsibility of society and Government. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh was addressing the gathering at Shala Praveshotsav (school entrants) programme organised at a primary school at Raja Bhanpuri village of Rajnandgaon district on Tuesday. Dr. Raman Singh said that the State Government is opening schools in the remote villages of state and providing free textbooks to the school students and people should take advantage of these facilities.

78,000 kids get free treatment under CM scheme

Free Medical treatment facilities have been provided for near about 78,000 malnourished and sick children under 'Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana' run by State Woman and Child Development department. The programme was started in 2009 for medical examination of seriously malnourished and stickiness prescribed by the doctors and also for consultation with pediatrician.

The State Government has stared a 'Naunihal Chhatravriti' scheme for the children of unorganized labourers engaged in building and other constructions. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh distribution the scholarship among the children at the headquarters of Bastar Revenue division. The State Government has given scholarship of Rs 30 lakh to 3,863 children of the State, till December 2011.
