Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Thursday dedicated Wonderland Park to the people apart from laying foundation stone for Indraprastha Phase-2, a housing scheme under Town Development Plan-1. On Thursday, the Chief Minister also dedicated newly constructed International Swimming Pool, Telibandha pond beautification and free WiFi zone and Naraiya pond beautification. Development Authority has come with its mega township Indrapratha Phase-1 and Indraprastha Phase-2. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, PWD Minister Rajesh Munat, Urban Administration Minister Amar Agrawal, MP Ramesh Bais and other dignitaries.
The Wonderland Park, as it is said, has been constructed with an estimated cost of over Rs 25 crores has been constructed and managed by a Joint Venture Vehicle constituted between Raipur Development Authority and Panchromatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd, a Kolkata based company dealing in amusement and recreation parks management. The park has been built under Private Public Partnership scheme. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said Raipur which is slowly taking the shape of a metro-city, the Wonderland Park amusement park is another step ahead in this direction and people now will get a good place for recreation.
