In the weekly public interaction programme of Chief Minister - Jandarshan held at his residence, Dr Raman Singh sanctioned financial aids to a number of needy patients. Specialist doctors of various kinds of diseases were present at Janddarshan venue to examine the patients. A free check-up camp for diabetes and sickle cell disease was also organized.
During the Jandarshan programme, a number of needy patients met Chief Minister and requested for help. Dr Singh sanctioned financial aid to 17 needy patients of critical diseases from Sanjeevani Sahayta Kosh and also approved financial assistance to two children under Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Suraksha Yojana. On his instructions, 11 patients were sent to Ambedkar Hospital in capital city Raipur for free medical treatment. On the occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Motiram Chandravanshi was also present.
At the diabetes and sickle cell free checkup stall, blood samples of as many as 58 persons were collected and they were given report immediately. On instructions of Chief Minister, Specialists of various departments of Pt Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Raipur were also present for examining the patients. Dr Amit Agrawal of General Surgery Department, Dr Sunil Ramnani of ENT Department, Dr Hussain Bhati of Neuro Surgery Department, Dr Suvarna Jain of Medicine Department, Dr Pankaj Patel of Orthopaedic Department, and Dr A Yadu of Gynaecology Department.
Mr. Adarsh Nayak from Pendra, Bilaspur district met Chief Minister in Jandarshan programme. Mr. Nayak handed over memorandum to Chief Minister requesting to restart the construction of building for Industrial Training Institute Pendra. Mr. Nayak told Chief Minister that the construction process was stopped after laying of foundation for this building in village Amarpur. Chief Minister instructed Bilaspur Collector to probe the matter and take necessary action. Mr. Nayak also handed over a note of gratitude to Chief Minister, on behalf of people of village Dongariya, for approving Eklavya Boarding School in village.
