Asserting that the Congress leaders should stop dreaming about forming Government in Chhattisgarh, Bhartiya Janata Party State President Ramsewak Paikra said that the magic of Rahul Gandhi has faded and it won't work. He said doubts on the intenion of Congress are still prevailing in the minds of people in Chhattisgarh. Paikra said the party which doesn't gives partronage its manifesto, how can one have faith in such a party.

IB, cops perform security drill on eve of Rahul's visit

The elite Special Protection Group (SPG) commandos have taken over the charge of Raipur Airport, Indoor Stadium and Rajkumar College (RKC) and other vantage points to ensure smooth and incident-free stay of All India Congress Committee General Secretary Rahul Gandhi during his tightly-knitted schedule in the State capital on Friday. The SPG personnel along with Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Chhattisgarh Police twice performed the security drill in the city on Thursday.

15 Congress party workers held for opposing construction of Toll Plaza

Cong gives responsibility to Distt gen Secys to select candidates for training programme

To make the State-level training programme a grand success, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Committee (CPCC) has handed over responsibility to district general secretaries for the selection of members for programme. On late Tuesday night meeting was conveyed at the official residence of Leader of Opposition Ravindra Chobey, in which it was to make party district sectaries responsible for the selection of members for the training programme from their respective areas.
