We should keep our workplace, locality clean like we do in temples: CM

Asserting that under the 'Swachh Bharat Nirman' campaign it is necessary to make a clean Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh said we should keep our work place and locality clean and pure like we do in temples and places of obeisance. The Chief Minister observed these views while administering Swachhata Shapat on the occasion of birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. In the main programme held at J R Dani Government Girls Higher Secondary School at Raipur, the Chief Minister administered oath to hundreds of school children, State Government officials and employees collectively. Later, addressing the august gathering, the Chief Minister said that Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi had stressed upon importance of cleanliness in the life of every people. Following the ideals set by him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had initiated this mega campaign in the country. Dr Singh cleanliness is necessary for good health. He said people clean their houses every-time when there are festivals like Diwali. etc, similarly, we should keep our locality, wards, village, cities, markets, hospitals, bus stand and rail-way premises clean. This work is possible only through cooperation from one and all.
