Chief Minister's Urban Health programme is an initiative of the State Government to provide quality health services in rural areas. For the administrative functioning of the programme, decision has been taken to establish an Urban Health Conservation Committee which will be chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh would on Monday dedicate the new university 'Bilaspur Vishwavidyalaya' to the State at 12.15pm. The new university is situated at Sendri village of Bilaspur district.
