Urban Health Conservation Committee formed to implement health programme

Chief Minister's Urban Health programme is an initiative of the State Government to provide quality health services in rural areas. For the administrative functioning of the programme, decision has been taken to establish an Urban Health Conservation Committee which will be chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh.

In this way, the number of university in the State would become 14. It is to be mentioned here that there were only five universities in the Chhattisgarh region before it got separated from Madhya Pradesh and made a State in November, 2000.
