SCERT to hold examination for DIET

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will hold an examination for recruitment on the academic posts laying vacant in the District Institutions for Education and Training (DIET) on deputation. The candidates qualifying the state level examination, scheduled to be held on June 17, and making it to the merit list will be invited for the interview on July 9 and 10.

CIC imposes fine of Rs 18,500 on Public Relations Officer of PWD

Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) Serjius Minj has imposed fine of Rs 18,500 on the public relations officer of Public Works Department (PWD) for making delay of 74 days in providing information sought by an applicant under the Right to Information Act. According to information, the The Chief information commissioner found public relations officer S N Shrivastava posted at PWD Raipur division guilty under Section 20 (1) of the Act.
