Speakers violate rules, visit Ranthambhore National Park

The Ranthambhore National Park (RNP) is out of bounds for tourists from July to September. But the rule is, of course, only for you and me. The VIPs enjoy special privileges and that includes the right to disturb the big cat in its breeding season.
At least, this is what the Rajasthan government apparently believes. On Saturday, it allowed the presiding officers and officials of state legislatures to visit the park.
