IIFL have given a market perormer rating to NMDC with a target price if Rs 242.

Five bombs found in Chhattisgarh in Maoist insurgency hit Bastar region

RAIPUR: A search team of para-military forces and the Chhattisgarh police on Monday found five bombs on a jungle road in Maoist insurgency-hit Bastar region's Kanker district, police said.

"Tiffin bombs were kept on a jungle road in Koilibera area. The bombs were recovered by a search contingent of the Border Security Force (BSF) and the district force," an official at the police headquarters here told IANS.

"Three bombs of about four kg and two of about two kg weight were defused immediately," the official said, adding, "these bombs would have made devastating impact if exploded."

B’ball: Maharashtra boys triumph

Maharashtra boys defeated Andhra Pradesh 61-58 in the final to bag the top honours in the 38th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championships which came to a close in Lucknow on Friday. The half-time score was 31-32 in the keenly-contested encounter. On behalf of Maharashtra, Shaikh Zaid (13 points) and A Aditya (11 points) were the top scorers. For Andhra Pradesh, M Siva Durga (16 points) and B Neeraj Kumar (11 points) showed good aggression in their game.

Tata BP Solar commissions first plant in AP

Mumbai, Sep 23 (PTI) Tata BP Solar India, a joint venture between Tata Power and BP Solar, today said it commissioned its first plant in Andhra Pradesh under the National Solar Mission.
The 1 megawatt plant was synchronised to the grid on September 17. The project is owned and developed by Ramakrishna Industries at Shadnagar in Andhra, the company said in a statement here.
The project uses 4,400 crystalline silicon modules of 230 watts each spread over 5 acres. The solar power plant will generate 1.54 million units first year, it said.

Maharashtra boys are national champs

NAGPUR: The decade long wait for the elusive national title finally ended for Maharashtra hoopsters. The state sub-junior boys team edged out Andhra Pardesh in an enthralling summit clash 61-58 to capture the National basketball crown at the RDSO courts in Lucknow on Friday.

While Maharashtra boys won the U-14 National title after a gap of more than 10 years, the girls team defeated Kerala 48-37 to claim bronze medal in the 38th edition of the Basketball Federation of India organised tourney.

Flash floods snap state road links, inundate areas

RANCHI: Communication with neighbouring states like Orissa and Chhattisgarh snapped and property worth several crores were damaged as flash floods submerged many low-lying areas after incessant rain hit Jharkhand in the past three days.

Road links were cut off on Friday when water started flowing over the bridges on Marda and Koel rivers on National Highway 23 and 78 that connect the two states with Jharkhand via Gumla.
