Arrested accused Bediram may reveal more secrets behind PMT paper leak

More astounding revelations may come to fore in the State's Pre Medical Test (PMT) paper leak case after the arrest of Bediram, one of the prime accused. It is likely that Bediram may expose some more transgressors of the unholy network who were involved in the entire washout, but are still behind the veils. Central Crime Branch (CCB) has begun interrogating the accused Bediram, caught in Jaunpur, Uttar pradesh. Police sources informed that the accused has so far told police that his brother Dinaram made the papers a available to him and he was in the network with his brother.

Parents oppose RKC's decision of making hostel compulsory

Parents on Wednesday united against a decision of the Rajkumar College (RKC), one of the premier institutions of Eastern India, in which the college management has made the boarding compulsory for students getting admission in Class 9th. A few parents reached the college to register their protest with the College management on Wednesday. They also staged a peaceful demonstration on the premises of the RKC. The parents also alleged that the RKC management has taken the decision in a hurry and it also did not inform them.

Bastar youth rebuked for 'honesty'

In A striking example of honesty, a poor resident of Bastar Guddu refused to avil the benefit under Government scheme using a mistakenly allotted eligibility card, and returned it to the Panchayat officials requesting them to cancel the same.
However, his honesty was not appreciated by the Panchayat officials who were unhappy to be at the other end to be at the pointed finger and since "being offensive is the best defence", they cast the youth away rebuking him hard.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh on Wednesday said that the agriculture sector of the nation calls for huge investment and it is the right time to do so keeping in mind the potential the nation has in its agriculture sector. The Chief Minister said that the government should come up with a clean policy and reach the same at Panchayat-level. The Chief minister was addressing a workshop on "Policy initiatives for promoting partnership between stakeholders in agriculture with particular reference to rainfed/dryland farming" at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.
