Expressing concern over the declining rupee, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh insisted over the need of better financial management on part of Central Government. These are the signs of recession, which will result in inflation and adversely affect the life of common people in the country. Centre should take serious steps to avert the same, said Dr Singh while addressing the concluding session of 54th annual convention of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries today as Chief Guest of the occasion.
The weekly programme of Jandarshan, which was to be organized at CM house in Raipur on Thursday, has been postponed owing to the ongoing budget session of Vidhan Sabha. Even as Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh is engaged in the official works related to the budget session, the scheduled Jandarshan programmes in the mean time will not be held until the budget session concludes on March 22.
