Girl gangraped in Baloda-Bazaar

Reports of yet another gang-rape emerged from Baloda-Bazaar district where the victim girl reportedly under went the ordeal by four youths in Bhilai "The girl claims to have accompanied her long time acquaintance neighboring boy, also a minor, who later handed her over to four friends in Bhilai," informed Station House Officers (SHO) Ram Gopal Soni. The girl was reported missing since February 5 by her father and is now undergoing medical tests to confirm her allegations of rape, he added.

Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara to get 585 crore for Development

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh would lay foundation for the 70 different development works worth Rs 585 crore in Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara district on January 18 to markthe first anniversary of the district. The Major development works include a 100-bed Hospital, Sports Stadium, Mandi Complex, Government Girl's College building, Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) Bhatapara and Bilagarh, Model School in Charched village of Kasdol. Dr. Singh will also participate in a 'road show' during celebrations.

5 women strangulated to death for mere Rs 5000

Central Crime Branch (CCB) along with Bilaigarh police team brainstormed to crack the most heinous crime of recent past, where five women were strangulated to death for mere Rs 5,000 and pair of silver bracelet. inspector General of Police (IGP) GP Singh, himself addressed the press-conference to unravel the ghastly crime, where four children have been left destitute since all of the guardian figures have been silenced brutally. CCB Inspector R K Sahu informed that the assailants have been identified as Digamber of Chhoti Kharri in Sarangarh and Girdhari Vaishnav of Barbatta in Sarangarh.
