CM to launch 'Amrut Yojana' at Sukma on 29 April,'Mahatari Jatan Yojana' at Ambikapur on 2 May

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh will launch 'Mukhyamantri Amrut Yojana' on 29 April at Sukma and Mahatari Jatan Yojana on 2 May at Ambikapur. The schemes are to provide nutritious diet to infants and pregnant women at the Anganwadi centres. Sweetened and flavoured milk (100 ml) will be provided to the children in the age-group of 3-6 years on every Mondays at the Anganwadis. Hot nutritious diet will be provided to pregnant women in the scheme' Mahatari Jatan Yojana' to be launched on 2 May at Ambikapur. Women and Child Development Secretary Mr.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh will tour Surguja district on 12 February. Dr. Singh will participate in a Skills Development Utsav Programme at P.G.College maidan at district headquarter town Ambikapur. He will also lay foundation stones, perform 'Bhoomipoojan' and dedicate many projects worth Rs 77 crore.

Chhattisgarh Government failed on many fronts: Sonia

Launching a direct and no-holds-barred attack on the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Government in the State, Congress President Sonia Gandhi alleged that the State Government has failed at several fronts, including health, education and in tackling the problem on Naxalism. "The Central Government has provided more then enough money to the Chhattisgarh Government, but they have not used those funds for development," said Gandhi, addressing a mammoth gathering at the PG College Ground.
