Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today took classes of the students of Sixth, Seventh and Eighth standards of the district headquarters Rajnandgaon State School. It was sheer coincidence that 15 October is the birthday of Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh and former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on whose name Quality Mission is named. Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh today presided over a Cabinet Meeting in which several important decisions were taken and it was decided to implement soon. Panchayat, Rural Development Minister Mr. Ajay Chandrakar said that the number of zilla panchayats' members were increased from 18 to 27 and the size of the pachayats were reduced. Two schools of Dhamtari district have been conferred upon the Best School Award at hands of Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh. Government High School of village Chharra in Kurud block and Primary School of village Kaswahi in Dhamtari block have been adorned with this award.
