Drive to distribute free bicycles and sewing machines to female labourers underway in capital city

PWD Minister Brijmohan Agrawal distributed Free Bicycles and Sewing Machines to Female Labourers.

Special drive for distribution of free bicycles and sewing machines to the female labourers of organized sector and distribution of free tool-kits to masons under the schemes of Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, has been initiated in capital city Raipur from last week. Under this drive, PWD Minister Brijmohan Agrawal distributed free bicycles to 5000 female labourers, free sewing machines to 5000 labourers and tool kits to about 3000 masons, in the programmes organized at eight different venues in Raipur.

Initiating the biggest ever campaign till date for distributing free cycles, sewing machines and trade equipment to the workers from unorganized sector, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh said that the State Government by acclaiming the hard work of workers is providing these equipment to them for making their livelihood easier and better. The Chief Minister observed these views while inaugurating the largest ever distribution campaign jointly organised by the Labour department and Chhattisgarh Building and Allied Workers Welfare Board.
