State Government have given administrative approval of Rs 1.26 crores for Nal-Jal Schemes in three villages of Kondagaon district under National Rural Drinking-water Programme. This includes, Rs 35.58 lakhs for village Hirapur, Rs 45.32 lakhs for village Kondkera and Rs 45.20 lakh of village Kopra of Kondagaon distruct. Approval orders have been released by Chief Engineer of PHE Department from his office at Raipur.
Outbreak of diarrhoea in Kodripal village in Chhattisgarh's Sukma District has claimed lives of three villagers including a woman while twenty-four others fell ill. The victims were hospitalized. While authorities claimed that the situation was under control on Friday evening, Opposition Congress Party Government, blaming that the Government neglects tribal Bastar region.
