90 Kg explosives seized from Naxal camp

In one of the major hauls, a joint strike-force team of District Force, Central Reserve Police Force (STF) recovered about 90 kilograms of explosives and other materials during raid on three hutments serving as a collective 'Maoists camp' in restive Bijapur district on Thursday. Post the raid, a huge quantity of explosives recovered from the camp situated recovered from the camp situated near Neelmadgu village under Farsegarh police station limits, were destroyed in the forest itself. Highly-placed sources in Anti-Naxal Operations wing of Chhattisgarh Police informed that the joint strike team led by Bijapur ASP Vivek Shukla carried out the raid, following a precise intelligence inputs about the Maoists gurillas presence in the forest supervising the manufacturing of crude explosives and also the undercover facilities being used for making guns and bombs.
