Intensifying their campaign against coalgate scam, irregularities and corruption, the main Opposition party Congress will stage 'gherao' of Jashpur Collectorate on Monday. Similar demonstration will be held at Balrampur on September 24 and Surajpur on September 26 falling in Surguja district. Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Nand Kumar Patel informed that ongoing agitation by the party has brought awareness among the masses about the wrong doings of ruling BJP government.

In near future there will be no change in Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee, but reshuffle in All India Congress Committee may after State party In-charge in coming days. Highly place sources in party informed that at present UPA-2 Government which is under turmoil over FDI issue and rationing of LPG cylinders, has suspended changes in AICC for another fifteen days.
